Greetings from Helena,
This week sees no let up in the events happening around us that tie in to prophecy in the Bible about end time events:
Since last week we’ve had a major earthquake on the Turkey-Syrian border that currently has claimed over 23,000 lives. This has been a major news event this entire week, as the number of deaths has continued to climb. https://www.foxnews.com/world/turkey-syria-earthquake-teen-child-rescued-death-toll-soars-22000 In Mark 13:8 Jesus said there would earthquakes in different places around the world.
As discussed last week we continue to see other nations testing us. The pride of our power is being tested. (Leviticus 26:19) After the large spy balloon crossed the entire nation, Friday we shoot one down crossing Alaska:

Sexual immorality and people pushing their agenda and forcing acceptance of their lifestyle, and even pushing them into it. Romans 1 describes what happens when people stop believing in God. In a Fox article Friday:
California mother Aurora Regino is suing her child’s school district for allegedly transitioning her 11-year-old’s gender in secret, claiming her rights as a parent were violated.
Fox News’ Claudia Cowan gave an update on the case on “America’s Newsroom” Friday after Regino discovered her daughter, a fifth-grade student in the Chico Unified School District, was living a double life as a male named “Jaden” and was receiving school counseling on socially transitioning. She is now again identifying as a female.

In this week’s bible study on Mark 13:9-13 we discussed Jesus’ warning to take heed – that we would be persecuted for our religious beliefs. Friday a video with Tucker Carlson was released about the potential for religious persecution towards traditional Catholics. We can see the doors are opening even in our own country for religious persecution.
I share these recent news events as a reminder that we are living in momentous times. Times when we see the fulfillment of biblical warnings nearly everyday.
We need to be mindful of the importance of what the Bible says and be diligent
2 Peter 1:16 NLT – For we were not making up clever stories when we told you about the powerful coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. We saw his majestic splendor with our own eyes
2 Peter 1:17 NLT – when he received honor and glory from God the Father. The voice from the majestic glory of God said to him, “This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy.”
2 Peter 1:18 NLT – We ourselves heard that voice from heaven when we were with him on the holy mountain.
2 Peter 1:19 NLT – Because of that experience, we have even greater confidence in the message proclaimed by the prophets. You must pay close attention to what they wrote, for their words are like a lamp shining in a dark place–until the Day dawns, and Christ the Morning Star shines in your hearts.
2 Peter 1:20 NLT – Above all, you must realize that no prophecy in Scripture ever came from the prophet’s own understanding,
2 Peter 1:21 NLT – or from human initiative. No, those prophets were moved by the Holy Spirit, and they spoke from God.
2 Peter 1:10 NLT – So, dear brothers and sisters, work hard to prove that you really are among those God has called and chosen. Do these things, and you will never fall away.
