Jesus instructed believers to remain spiritually alert, watch world events carefully, and pray so they may be counted worthy to escape the worst of these trials.

Ultimately, the sermon reassures believers that God is still on His throne and fully in control of history. Though the world may become more chaotic and ungodly, God reveals His plans through the prophets so His people will not be caught unaware. Those who fear Him, keep His covenant, and trust in His promises can live without fear, confident that God will never leave nor forsake them.
