Summary
Our words carry incredible power — to heal or to harm, to bring life or to destroy. This sermon explores the profound biblical truth that what we speak, think, and believe shapes our hearts, our relationships, and even our walk with God.
Through scriptures from John, Proverbs, and Paul’s letters, we see that Christ Himself is the Word of Life, and that God calls us to write His words deep within our hearts and minds. When we replace self-defeating thoughts and negative speech with God’s truth, we experience transformation — renewing our minds and aligning our words with His Spirit.
Believers are urged to speak words that build up, not tear down; to teach God’s truth to their children and others; and to let their speech always be filled with grace, seasoned with salt.
Ultimately, the message reminds us that as we meditate on God’s Word and speak it in love, we become living epistles — written not with ink, but by the Spirit of the Living God — shining His light to the world.
